One of my heroes dies at 74.

This makes me very sad, like when Jim Henson died. Two huge influences on me as a kid are both gone.

Bye Neighbor.

YES!

my memory hasn't deceived me...

QUOTE

I was so scared of The Hulk that if anyone turned on the TV and it was on, I'd burst into tears. After repeated attempts to get me to understand it was only make-believe and nothing to fear, my Mom finally found a golden opportunity in an episode of Mr. Rogers. She sat down with me and made me watch it because the special guest was Lou Ferrigno, and they interviewed him and showed "behind the scenes" stuff like him getting in makeup and the fancy camerawork and stunts. This helped me understand better. I grew out of my fear and tranferred it willingly onto my little brother, mean sister that I was. To keep him from wandering into the sump pump room in our basement, I told him the Incredible Hulk lived there and would get him if he went in. Eventually he too grew out of the fear and we both transferred it to my little sister. Ah, sibling relationships!
